The way they work is that you buy time in the bay and during the time you can use any of the different options.

Wheel & Tire Cleaner, Pre-Soak, Foam Brush, High Pressure Soap, High Pressure Rinse, Triple Foam, High Pressure Wax,  Spot Free Rinse, Air Blower/Dryer

You might not need or want to use all the options, that is entirely up to you.
